Get Involved
There are different ways of getting involved with the activities of ADACI and helping to support its Mission and Objectives. You could become a member or a volunteer. You could give a donation or help with fundraising. However you choose to get involved, your efforts will be truly appreciated.
Becoming a Member of ADACI
Membership fee is CI$25 per annum. Members will be entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting and attend workshops on caring for people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. They will also receive copies of newsletters and international reports on Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Volunteering to Assist
ADACI will organize educational and social events throughout the year. Putting on these events will often require extra hands to help with setting up the venue, distributing leaflets or selling tickets, for example.
Donations
ADACI provides formal training for carers, raises funds for the provision of short-term financial assistance for persons with dementia, and is developing and implementing a public awareness campaign in the Cayman Islands.
Fundraising
There are many ways one can raise funds for a good cause. Some of these can be organised in your district or place of work.
